Abstract This paper presents the summary of experimental program to evaluate potential KOBM (Klockner Oxygen Blown Maxhutte) slag stabilize geogrid-reinforced subgrade soil in Suva, Fiji. is a by-product steel manufacturing process New Zealand. The standard California bearing ratio (CBR) laboratory tests were performed on samples with various combinations geogrid and slag, along other geotechnical determine strength behaviour soil. experiments undertaken investigate impact using (0%, 5%, 10%, 15%, 20%) single double layers reinforcement placed at H/2 H/4 (where H height CBR mould) sample. effect respect position number varying contents has been examined. Results current study indicate that there significant increase values for stabilized reinforced geogrid. Maximum value was observed sample layer 20% slag. best outcome amongst all KOBM, position/no. consisting 50 experiments.
